TSOB PRE-SCHOOL BALLET
Through structured 50 minute classes using rhythm, shape and self-expression, the very young students find themselves on a wonderful journey to discover the world of movement and dance. Each semester culminates in an observation lesson open to family and friends.
Pre-School Ballet: Ages 4-5 Tuesday: 9:30 to 10:20 a.m .Saturday: 9:00 to 9:50 a.m. Tuition $550.00. Registration in January will be prorated.
TSOB PRE-BALLET PROGRAMS
Students in the Pre-Ballet programs are introduced to movement, rhythm, space and shape through the teaching of fundamentals of locomotive motor skills and dance exercises appropriate for their ages. The structured learning environment also helps the child to develop vital social skills in a creative environment. The 50 minute class consists of floor work, basic posture rules at the ballet barre and the study of mime excerpts from classical ballets such as Nutcracker, Coppelia and The Sleeping Beauty. Each semester culminates in an observation lesson open to family and friends.
Pre-Ballet 1/2: Ages 5-6 Tuesday: 3:45 to 4:35 p.m. or Saturday: 10:00 to 10:50 a.m. Tuition: $550.00., Registration in January will be prorated.
TSOB CHILDREN’S BALLET APPRECIATION PROGRAM:
LEVELS 1-3 Level 1 (comparable to first graders in school) actually begins the use of the Nutmeg ballet curriculum. The classes take the student through the study of classical ballet with concentration on technique, fundamental basic terminology and artistry. This level 1 progression helps to lay the foundation that is needed to develop into a stronger technique and allows the student to pass to the graded levels 2 and 3. These grade levels are usually analogous to the students’ grade in school.
Level 1: Ages 7-8 Wednesday: 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. or Saturday: 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Tuition: $550.00
Level 2/3: Ages 8-9 Thursday: 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. and/or Saturday: 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.
Tuition: $550.00/$1,050.00. Registration in January will be prorated.
Program Tuition is based on a 34 week semester. There is a $25.00 one time registration fee. Make up classes can be taken at any time as long as the student is registered. Full Program students do not have make-up classes.

TSOB CHILDREN’S CONCENTRATED TRAINING PROGRAM
The Concentrated Programs offer the student the opportunity to begin more serious train ing in classical ballet. More organized and serious dance study in ballet technique and fundamental pointe/men’s work will be presented. Through their continued concentrated study students working in Level 4/5/6/7 will gain strong technique based on the Vaganova Syllabus used at Nutmeg. This work will eventually service each student as they move onto the stage at Nutmeg Ballet performances. Non-performing program; includes technique and pointe classes only. Proper placement options should be discussed with School Director.
Level 4 – Two Day Concentrated Training Program:
Ages 8-12 Tuesday; 4:45 to 6:15 p.m. and
Saturday; 11:00 to 12:30 p.m.
One Class - $800.00
Tuition: $1,600.00
Level 5, 6/7 – Three Day Concentrated Training Program:
Ages 9-13 Wednesday and Thursday;
4:45 to 6:15 p.m. - Technique,
6:15 to 6:45 p.m. - Pointe,
Saturday; 11:00 to 12:30 p.m. -Technique,
12:30 to 1:00 p.m. - Pointe
Tuition: $2,200.00 includes Pointe.

Performance Opportunities
Through an audition process, students in Levels 2 through 7 have
frequent opportunities to perform in Nutmeg Ballet’s productions of Nutcracker,
plus spring and summer repertoire performances. Full fee:
